At Green City, we have a comprehensive 7 Step Customer Care Process that starts from the day you sign the Agreement of Purchase and Sale, up until you receive the keys to your new dream home, and well beyond that. At every step, a customer care specialist is there to guide you in making the right decisions.
Design Studio: Foundation Stage
In the coming months after purchasing your new home, you will receive an email with your lot specific options and prices applicable to the Foundation stage. This stage is completed via email and the documentation will be signed electronically. All options in the foundation stage affect the first initial stages of construction and is why we separate these items from your Framing appointment. Foundation options may include Cold Cellar, 3pc Rough-in, Finished Basement etc. If there is anything else the Design Studio Team can assist with, please do not hesitate to email, or call.
Design Studio: Framing Appointment
Next is the Framing appointment which will take place at our new 5,000 sq ft Design Studio located at 85 Renfrew Drive, Markham, ON. Appointments run approximately three (3) hours and are scheduled Monday through Friday at 9:30am or 1:30pm. At this appointment decisions regarding electrical, plumbing, as well as your cabinetry layout, style & colour and kitchen appliances will need to be made. It is very important that you research and decide on your kitchen appliances prior to your framing appointment.
Design Studio: Finishing Selections
One of our consultants will contact you to book your appointment. This is where you will be selecting all remaining interior Finishes, such as countertops, flooring, trim etc. to make your home reflect your personal taste. It is recommended to bring design inspiration photos to this appointment to help guide your design studio appointment. Our professional Design Consultant will offer expert advice on designs and fashion trends and guide you in making the right choices.
The fourth step is the all-important Framewalk. Once your new home’s framing is completed and before the drywall is installed, a Customer Care specialist will accompany you on a walkthrough of your home, so you can inspect the interiors and view any structural or mechanical changes you may have asked for during your Design Studio appointment.
The next step is the Pre-Delivery Inspection. It happens about a week before your closing date. At the PDI, a customer care representative will walk you through your completed home, and you can make sure that all the features, finishes and upgrades you selected have been properly installed. Any minor defects will also be noted for correction before the final closing.
Finally, the all-important Closing Day arrives. Prior to this, make sure you have handed over all the closing documents and paperwork to your lawyer. Once our office receives the paperwork, one of our customer care representatives will reach out to you to hand over the keys to your new dream home.
At Green City, our care doesn’t stop with handing over your keys. As you settle into your new home, we are there to help you with answers about your warranty, information about your new neighbourhood and handy maintenance tips, all of which can be found in our comprehensive Welcome Manual which you will receive along with your keys.
