As our Sales and Marketing Coordinator, reporting to the Director of Marketing, you will have the opportunity to help Green City Development deliver on our mission to become a leader in the continuous innovation and creativity in the high-end, eco-friendly, multi-unit and community residential development space in the Greater Toronto Area. We are a 20- person enterprise (not including the people who build our projects) excited by the prospect of doubling our size over the next two years.

KEY FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES

  • Coordinate and attend Sales & Marketing Meetings
  • Assist in Green City Launches and Events (some work on evenings and weekends will be required)
  • Work with Marketing Director to organize Homeowner Events and Welcome Gifts
  • Organize Investor Relations activities
  • Assist with public relation events for raising Green City brand awareness
  • Assist with all advertising campaigns including social media, Google display ads and Google analytics reporting. Maintain website and social media updates as well
  • Prepare and proofread marketing materials, floorplans, pricelists, and e-blasts Coordinate the schedule and execution of e-blasts
  • Prepare various sales and marketing, competitive reports
  • Ensure sales centre and model homes are maintained to our quality standards
  • Help Sales, Marketing, Legal teams compile Agreements of Purchase and Sale
  • Enter homeowner information into builder software and customer database
  • Assist Sales & Marketing, Legal and Accounting departments with the collection, processing, and accurate tracking cheques
  • Issue purchase orders for sign off and process invoices
  • Respond to customer web and phone inquiries
  • Obtain expecting closing dates from Construction management for all homes
  • Notify purchasers and all parties in writing of the closing date

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

  • University degree or College Diploma with emphasis on Marketing Management
  • 4+ years in sales & marketing, customer focused roles
  • Experience in the new homebuilding industry is a must-have
  • Tech savvy, with core competency in Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Comprehensive skills in Newstar or similar builder software program
  • Excellent written, oral, and listening skills
